Why do a Spring Garden Cleanup?
Once the ground has warmed up above 10 degrees C, it is time to tackle the garden, especially if nothing was done in the fall. Removing dead plants, leaves and debris left from the previous growing season is essential. They can be harboring diseases and mold spores that can give you problems in the current season. It is also a good time to get ahead and do a thorough weeding. Weeds are easier to pull when they are small and when the soil is moist. Springtime is also a great time to do any transplanting of existing perennials, mulching beds, and planting new shrubs and plants.
A Spring Cleanup consists of:
* Cutting down of last years plant growth
* Blowing and raking leaves out of beds
*Removing fallen debris, and branches
* Fluffing of mulch, if applies
* Weed out any existing weeds
* Edging of Beds
*Bagging of compost and removal / disposal (Communities that have green bin/compost weekly pick up, bags will be left at the curb. )
***Addition of fresh soil/manure and mulch is not included and is an extra service available .
